It has been a while since my last update - nearly three years. I found a full-time job and completely disappeared for two years. While I do regret overworking myself, I am extremely happy to finally be able to afford my own Pump It Up cabinet. It took so many kind people an enormous number of things aligning for me for this to happen, for which I will be forever grateful.
I went to the biggest tournament in the world in 2022 and to say it rekindled my love for the game would be an understatement. Colombia met me with open arms and open hearts, and I will be cherishing these memories for a long time. I started prioritising going to the tournaments and travelling. Since then, I took part in two more tournaments in Netherlands and Spain and made some great friends along the way. I have also gotten a chance to meet French community which was a blessing, and I cannot be more excited for what is yet to come.
I'm looking for a new, more sustainable, job while playing Pump every other day since the beginning of the year. I have recently started streaming my games too and this is the first time in a long time that I see substantial improvement in the game. It helps being motivated by the tournaments, but it's even more exciting to have people root for me and help me grow every single step of the journey.
As I have been many times in the past, I'm very grateful to be a part of Pump community. I feel optimistic about the UK scene, and I look forward to what is next. Until then, I'll keep grinding. See you at the arcade.
