The arts are good for you.

And now Daisy Fancourt is here with the evidence for why they – alongside diet, sleep, exercise and nature – are the forgotten fifth pillar of health in her new book: Art Cure.

In this talk hosted by broadcaster and journalist Hannah MacInnes, Daisy will be in conversation with actors Alfred Enoch and Tamzin Outhwaite, as well as our Artistic Director Nadia Fall.

(don't miss it)

For the past few weeks this cast have been rehearsing to piano and guitar, and Sitzprobe is when we add drums. And more guitars. And strings. And it is electric to hear these songs played in full force for the first time.

Thelma & Louise is coming on 3 September and it is going to blow you away.

Letitia Hector spills the tea: lemongrass, moringa, cinnamon bark, honey & lemon.

another day spent sneaking round the ‘Thelma & Louise’ rehearsals, this time with Letitia as our guide, through vocal warm-ups, dance routines and a media call.

is bringing the best of the Fringe down to The Cut!

Written by Oliver award winner Jon Brittain with music by Matthew Floyd Jones, A Super Happy Story (About Feeling Super Sad) is a hilarious cabaret musical about depression that talks about how it’s OK to not be OK.

In Songs You've Never Heard (Sung By People Who Can Sing), musical comedy duo Flo & Joan (Nicola and Rosie Dempsey) have invited a selection of “proper” singers to join them in an hour of songs and chat from some unheard musical projects by Nicola and Rosie Dempsey.

Elbow Deep by Elinor Peregrin is a soaring new folk musical about love, loss, and finding joy again.

Sappho: The Poetess by Hayley Canham is a musical memoir of the poetess, q***r icon, and history's first great songwriter.

convenient, rehearsing in a heatwave, when you’re meant to be somewhere in Arkansas.

Trevor Dion Nicholas and Jordan Luke Gage take us behind the scenes of the Thelma & Louise media call - a selection of songs, played to press for the first time, with strict instructions not to give away too much. (they mostly manage it.)

Thelma & Louise runs 3 Sep - 24 Oct at the Young Vic.
