This free exhibition, in partnership with Crystal Palace Artists Open House, is a fresh mediation on masculinity, vulnerability within masculinity and the artist's unique journey of self-acceptance and belonging.

Influenced by artists such as René Magritte, Claude Monet and Robert Doisneau, his practice moves between introspection and visual poetry.

Proceeds from all sales going to the artist’s growth and funding public programmes in advancing and diversifying engagement in .

On 9th June, participants at WW+P Architects - formerly Weston Williamson and Partners - discovered how understandings of shape and proportion of the human form transforms architectural thinking. Our latest life drawing workshop with the firm focused on hands and feet, engaging participants with fresh technical ways of tackling these foundations of the body.

What a day! 🎬✨

Yesterday, we welcomed college students and the curious public from Brighton, Eastbourne, Lewes and beyond to our latest charcoal animation workshop Crossing the Screen and the Eastbourne International Animation Festival present: Charcoal Animation .

Watching learners move through warm-up exercises, then into practical skill-building and finally creating their own animated narratives in charcoal – that's the learning journey we believe in and work hard to nurture.

Huge thanks to the – what a pleasure it was working with you. Your partnership with the Talent Accelerator programme (which gets young people across East Sussex passionate about careers in our Creative Industries) is genuinely inspiring. As you grow your programme year on year to engage school and college-age learners, we hope to be right there alongside you.

17 - 1 - 360° of creative possibility

Last Friday's 360° workshop at (BIAF) was magical – visual storytellers with and backgrounds gathered to draw, discover movement and bring their work to life through animation.

Every drawing told its own story. Every reflected a unique creative voice. That's what happens when you create space for and to experiment together.

Four years partnering with and still discovering new possibilities.

What an incredible evening yesterday with the divine

Three days left to see 'Proscribed', an exhibition about dissent, humanity and what it means to resist.

Portrait artist Kemp's drawings they strip away all the noise of protest and focus on what matters: the people themselves.

Dark marks gradually become human figures – contorted, twisted, alone – being carried away by forces beyond their control. No crowds, no signs, no context. Just the person in the moment of arrest, rendered with unflinching clarity.

Created in response to the UK government's proscription of Palestine Action in July 2025, these works ask challenging questions: Are these people truly harmful? Is what they are doing unlawful?

They don't give you answers. Instead, they invite you to look closer and remember the humanity in every act of dissent.

Why we do this work? This is what Packed Lunch exists for. Not to provide easy answers, but to create platforms where emerging artists can ask the questions that matter, questions that make us uncomfortable, that challenge us to think differently about power, control, and what it means to resist and explore possibility.
