I often wonder if I have a purpose here on this planet 🌍 and I suspect a lot of us do.

The good news is that we don't need a huge sign over our heads saying 'world changer' to matter.

Sometimes the biggest impact we can have is simply being here and showing up.
Sometimes just watching someone overcome struggles can give another person the strength they need to get through one more day.

That is priceless.

Never think you don’t matter, or that you're not big enough to make a difference.

We all make a difference to each other. I truly believe that.

And sometimes, a little hope is the greatest gift we can give. 🎁

In 2024 I painted four (yes four!) paintings of the same two people as I am always worried I didn’t get it right first time. The stress!

Gareth Southgate and Steve Holland last worked side by side during Euro 2024, which concluded with England reaching the final. Following the tournament, Southgate stepped down as England manager, and Holland also left his role as assistant coach, bringing their long-standing partnership to an end.

However the paintings I did represented an era between them that I wanted to capture on canvas.

They've stayed hidden until now..

A selection of my most recent paintings ❤️ All painted on small canvas panels and ready to frame.

I so enjoyed creating these, some have gold and silver leaf or jewel embellishment. All painted with acrylic paint and some with metallic coppers and gold or my favourite fluorescent pink. Bliss!

(And I'm sure all could fly if they tried! Even the elephant if he flapped his ears hard enough!)

This lion’s been more than my friend, while I painted him I felt peace, when I finished him I felt pride and after that he has been keeping me company and watching over me until today.. Now he makes his new owner feel good too. 🦁♥️

But now he’s off to his new home I kinda miss him already. Wonder if they’d notice if I snuck him back? 😉✨

I jest of course, it's the best feeling in the world!

I love this beautiful lady, I loved living in Spain and this holds many happy memories. I actually painted her from the stills of a real flamenco dancer video, when I saw this creation it was so realistic and fluid just like the real thing, so impressed! I hope you enjoy!
