What a magical weekend! ✨
Peckham Digital held its first institutional takeover at as part of Creative Intelligence.
Big thank you to for trusting Bea in taking over the Queen Elizabeth Hall foyer, a space with such an inspiring history (especially for computational arts).
Across the weekend, the foyer was transformed into a space for getting hands-on with creative technology, bringing together an incredible selection of interactive installations, performances, workshops and experimental projects.
We had installations from Compiler, Ube Boobey, enorê, Future Inventions, Identity 2.0, In-grid, Lady Ludd, London Pattern Club, MOTH, Shaheer Tarar and The Unseen, inviting audiences to explore, play, interact and think differently about what creative technology can be.
Alongside the installations, the programme was packed with opportunities to get involved inluding London Pattern Club’s digital tile design and fabrication workshop, enorê’s 3D clay printer activation and Phreaking Collective’s Open Projector.
We also brought live coding and algorithmic music to the foyer with AlgoRhythms and our MUSICxCODE cohort, alongside performances from Lagtime Seedling, Lady Ludd and the London Community Laptop Orchestra.
It was a weekend all about making technology feel open, playful and collaborative bringing together artists, creative technologists, musicians, coders and audiences to experiment, learn and make together.
