✨COMPILER AT CREATIVE INTELLIGENCE ✨

We're excited to announce Compiler as part of Peckham Digital's programme at Creative Intelligence at Southbank Centre.

Led by Tanya Boyarkina and Oscar Cass-Darweish, Compiler is a digital art collective whose practice explores the social and political challenges of digital culture. Through exhibitions, workshops, and participatory events, they create accessible experiences that help people of all backgrounds better understand emerging technologies and their impact on our lives.

🖥️Don't miss Compiler's installation, on display all weekend, as well as their drop-in workshop where you can get hands-on with the ideas behind their practice.

We're throwing our very first AlgoFund fundraiser to celebrate 5 years of Peckham Digital and you're invited.

To the first ever Peckham Digital Antweight Robot Tournament! 🤖⚡

Hosted by the fantastic Eli Gumble, this action-packed event brought the excitement of Robot Wars and BattleBots to a whole new scale. With robots weighing just 150g, every match was fast, unpredictable and full of ingenious engineering.

London's antweight community battled through around 30 high-energy fights, all competing for the trophy and ultimate bragging rights.

Last week, we took to the airwaves on Resonance FM as part of Clear Spot for a special edition of Code as Community. 📻💜

Hosted by Bea Taylor Searle and Nell Lang, the show explored London's rich computational arts scene, the future of Peckham Digital, and featured incredible live-coded performances from OnDayDreamingLeave and Ana-Maria Margarit.

We rounded off the broadcast with an incredible improvised Flok live coding session, bringing together artists to create music live on air in a spontaneous celebration of collaboration, creativity, and code. 💻🎶✨

We're excited to announce Lagtime Seedling as part of Peckham Digital's programme at Creative Intelligence at Southbank Centre.

Using nothing more than a laptop and a web browser, Lagtime Seedling creates live audio-visual performances built entirely from YouTube tabs. Through a carefully choreographed navigation of the web, they transform overlooked corners of the internet into immersive musical and visual compositions, uncovering unexpected narratives along the way.

Blurring the boundaries between performance, live coding, internet culture, and digital art, this is a unique opportunity to experience the web as both instrument and stage.

✨ LADY LUDD TO PERFORM AT CREATIVE INTELLIGENCE ✨

We're excited to announce Sophie Huckfield as part of Peckham Digital's programme at Creative Intelligence at Southbank Centre.

Experience Lady Ludd, a multidisciplinary artwork that transforms a repurposed weaving loom into an interactive musical instrument. Blending DIY music, craft, performance, and technology, the project draws on feminist and q***r reinterpretations of the Luddite movement, exploring how women and non-binary people have historically challenged technological change and shaped creative resistance.

Through voice, electronics, ambient sound, and fractured rhythms, *Lady Ludd* reimagines the loom—a symbol of feminised labour—as both an installation and a live performance, weaving together histories of craft, music, and collective action.

Sophie Huckfield is a multidisciplinary artist, designer, and writer whose collaborative practice explores labour, technology, class, craft, and (de)industrialisation through an intersectional feminist and q***r lens.
