๐ซ๐ซ๐ซ News alert: The wonderful Bart is coming to play Casper Maplewood for Mother Soil 2.0! Welcome to the family, we're so excited to start this new journey with you! ๐๐๐
๐A little bit about him:
I am Bartolomeo Bartolini (Bart for friends!), a performer and puppeteer, graduated in Physical Theatre from East15.ย
As a multidisciplinary artist, my artistic practice has always been driven by a desire to create art that is visually compelling, socially relevant, and accessible, with the potential to bring people closer to the arts and to inspire future generations.ย
My inspiration comes from my involvement with Good Chance Theatre and the Walk Productions, bringing to life a huge puppet of a refugee girl named Little Amal, which has travelled in 15 countries around the world to spread hope for refugee children. For The Walk, I also produced along with dozens of refugee artists an app commissioned by Bloomberg Connects.
I wrote and performed in the show โSoโฆ You Knew?โ in Italy and the UK; an energetic solo performance about the history of misinformation around climate change, from the discovery of the greenhouse effect in the '80s to todayโs mind-blowing greenwashing tactics.
On my mother soil (Italy) I teach at the Liminal Theatre School in Florence, where I work with groups of all ages, leading classes in physical theatre and movement.
It's been a pleasure having him today four our first rehearsals and we can't wait to show you what we've got. Mother Soil 2.0 will be on from 12th till 16th of November at 8:30pm at as part of ๐ญ
