🎭 Primary Shakespeare 2026 is now in full swing!

This year, we are excited to bring a lively and interactive retelling of Shakespeare’s brilliantly bonkers classic, The Comedy of Errors, to students in Years 3–6.

Want to see it too? We’ll be hosting a family-friendly public performance of this fast-paced, 60-minute production on 20 June at 2:30pm. Expect plenty of fun, laughter, and audience participation for all ages as our cast brings Shakespeare’s hilarious tale of mistaken identities to life.

🔦 Saturday Seminars return next weekend!

John Nicholson, Physical Comedy Consultant and one third of the award-winning comedy theatre trio Peepolykus, is taking us behind the scenes of the Black Comedy rehearsal room to demonstrate the art of farce!

An Olivier Award-nominated writer, director, and comedy consultant, John’s work spans theatre, TV, sketch shows, radio, and musical theatre, with plays published by Nick Hern Books and performed worldwide. The seminar also offers the opportunity to meet John and explore how movement and physical action shape comedy in theatre.

🎭 Meet the cast of this year’s Primary Shakespeare!

Throughout June and July, we’re delighted to welcome Kemi Clarke, Rosalind Lailey, Signe Larsson, and Thuliswa Magwaza to the OT as they bring a retelling of Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors to Years 3–6 students through our Primary Shakespeare programme.
