Today is World Mental Health Day 🎶

Singing together is good for body and mind. It lowers stress, lifts mood and helps us feel connected to the people around us.

But if you’re struggling, singing isn’t a substitute for support. Reach out to someone you trust, your GP, or a mental health service. You don’t have to go through it alone.

Let your voice be heard 💛

Last night some of us had the most magical evening at the 40th Anniversary Gala of The Phantom of the Opera 🎭✨
Witnessing and Sarah Brightman back on stage together, with Andrew Lloyd Webber in the house - there are no words. Pure theatre magic from start to finish.
For a choir that has sung its own Phantom medley, this one felt especially close to our hearts 🥀
The music of the night indeed 🎶

Three years old and already defying gravity 🎈🎭
We celebrated our third birthday in true Honor Oak Musical Theatre Choir style - homemade cake from one of our members, lots of singing of course, and a helium balloon that had other ideas and headed straight for the ceiling 🙈
Honestly, we couldn’t have planned it better if we tried.
From our very first rehearsal to this weeks celebrations - what a three years it’s been 💛
Here’s to many more 🎂🎶
