The Nicholas Brothers and Gene Kelly ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

In a time when Hollywood and society separated artists by their skin color, Gene Kelly tried and insisted on dancing alongside the magnificent Nicholas Brothers.
The unexpected was reality and the result was pure history. The film was censored in various cinemas in the southern USA.

Vernacular African- American jazz dance move.
Originates from West African and West Indian dances traditions brought to America through the transatlantic slave trade, which blended with European through social dances like the Cakewalk and Pattin’ Juba, eventually influencing jazz music and dance styles like Lindy Hop African American dance.

Found in Ancient west African dances sush as Mendiani from Guinea region, and Burkina Faso with the Gulmantché tribe.
