Part two of my Etsy journey. After posting consistently for around eight months, I experienced burnout and went through a difficult period. I stopped working on my Etsy shop and even took a break from painting.

But strangely, during one of the most difficult periods of my life, I had more creative ideas than ever before.

A little story about how it all began. 🎨

Before the paintings, the shop, the orders and everything that came after — there was just me, a little baby, a lot of uncertainty, and the need to create something of my own.

I started painting without really knowing where it would lead. Some of those first paintings are still very close to my heart, because they remind me of that version of myself who simply kept going.

Looking back now, I can see that it was never just about selling art. It was about finding my way back to creativity, slowly building something of my own, and allowing myself to become an artist along the way.

This is where the story starts. 🤍

This is how I tried to make a video about my orchid series and I actually did film myself nicely afterward but I was thinking that I have already posed it🙈 and deleted everything except this 10 seconds one. This is what happens when I’m trying to do everything perfectly and waiting until it will be spotless. But life is life and there will be no perfect moment!

My mum asked me today, “Why do you even film all this? Why not just show your paintings?”

And it made me think.

Between one painting and the next, there is a whole lot of life. The things we experience, the struggles, the little joys, the things that inspire us — all of it becomes part of who we are and, eventually, part of what we create.

So I decided I don’t want to wait for the perfect studio, perfect lighting, perfect equipment or endless free time.

I just want to share real life — and how art slowly grows out of it. 🤍
