Looking forward to being at Grove Park Community Group’s Summer Fête tomorrow from 1-4pm. We are running our legacy leaf project that will be installed in the garden.

For a donation to GPCG, you can come and make your ceramic legacy leaf which will remain in the garden for years to come. We are raising funds for activities and improvements at The Ringway Centre.

Start of term means exploring new skills. On Friday Victoria introduced burnishing to the ceramicists and introduced hand-building to those starting their clay journeys with us. 🌞

There’s just one spot left in our Friday adult class (10am-1pm) starting tomorrow Friday 1st May and a couple spaces in our after-school CLAY CLUB for ages 7-11 (Tuesdays, 4-5:30pm).

Ready to get creative with clay and build your skills this summer? Our hand-building classes are the perfect opportunity to express your ideas, learn new techniques, and create beautiful ceramic pieces in a relaxed, supportive environment. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, our expert ceramics tutors will guide you every step of the way.

We've had a great start to the week, kicking off this term's classes at The Ringway Centre , overlooking the peaceful Ringway Woodland Gardens - the inspiring surroundings have already sparked lots of creativity among our ceramicists.

Clay at The Ringway is a not-for-profit community ceramics project run in Grove Park SE12 0DS, since 2020. We run hand-building courses for adults, after-school clay club for kids, teen clay club and run free community events. We rely on word-of-mouth to share our project. Introducing a meticulously crafted lasagna dish by Vanessa, Vanessa from our Tuesday class. Designed to fit each sheet perfectly, this lasagna dish is a brilliant make and will be enjoyed by Vanessa's family for a long time to come. What a triumph!

We can't wait for this summer's courses to begin from 28th April. We are very lucky to be based at The Ringway Centre where the room where we teach overlooks the relaxing Ringway Woodland Gardens. Many of our ceramicists taken inspiration from the leafy surroundings whilst also taking joy from the lighter and warmer evenings.

** We have one place left in our Friday class for adults 10-1pm and a few places left in our after-school CLAY CLUB on Tuesday 4-5:30 for 7-11 year olds. **
