Head of Production to join our leadership team.
We’re looking for someone who shares our ambition to continually improve how we work.
About the Role
As Head of Production, you will oversee the delivery of projects across our production teams, maintaining a clear view of schedules, resources and financial performance, while supporting the development and wellbeing of the teams you lead.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading, mentoring and developing the Projects Team, Workshop Manager and Heads of Department.
- Driving effective communication across departments through project meetings, handovers and debriefs.
- Overseeing project delivery, ensuring schedules, resources and milestones remain on track.
- Reviewing and improving production processes to increase efficiency, quality and consistency.
- Building a collaborative culture focused on teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Monitoring project profitability through effective resource planning, material utilisation and close collaboration with Project Managers, the Workshop Manager and subcontractors.
- Using project data and reporting to support informed decision-making and commercial performance.
- Planning and allocating production resources alongside Project Managers and the Workshop Manager.
- Managing capital investment to maintain and enhance production facilities, equipment and capabilities.
- Ensuring robust health & safety standards across project delivery and workshop operations.
- Championing sustainable production practices, reducing waste, maximising reuse and improving resource efficiency.
