I’m really considering coming off of Facebook… I find it so intensely unhealthy for me. I’m constantly barraged with homophobic and transphobic rhetoric in either posts that are shown to me or throughout the comments sections. I am sick to death of these random people who constantly attack all sorts of people based on sexuality, gender, etc, etc… all just based on social standards which are archaic. Why is there still any argument about using people’s pronouns or names etc…? It takes legitimately no effort and it’s not taking any power away from anyone. The world is a more varied and fluid place and people are starting to gradually accept themselves. Why do all of these people care so much about people’s sexual organs? It’s legitimately sick. Anyway, if any of you know me on here and would like to maintain contact or see what stuff I’m getting upto, please feel free to follow me on instagram (or not, upto you!) and I’ll follow you back. But I am feeling an ever increasing lack of energy to even read the vitriol posted on here. At least on instagram i seem to get shown more appropriate content to myself. Rant over!
