NoriTheatre was established during the 2020 Lockdown by Becky Harrison and Dylan Allcock.

Whilst founding a theatre company during 2020 lockdown may have seemed ludicrous to some... with the fantastic support of our friends and family we’ve delivered on not 1, not 2 but 3 successful theatre projects. Thank you so much everyone for your amazing support!

We’ve already started to plan what’s next and we can’t wait to share this with you in 2021!

For those who maybe interested:
The name “Nori” comes from the humble – yet notable – Nori Brick. Made in Accrington (Lancashire) and famous for its iron red colour (a reversed brick mould being the most likely origin story of the name), the Nori Brick has made its way as far as being used in the construction of the Empire State Building!

"Charles Dickens turns up in Little Venice, thinking he would introduce a top-notch theatre troupe to perform “A Christmas Carol” and then relax with a rum-punch and watch the show. But best laid plans and all that…"

We had the absolute best time crafting for the Canal Cafe Theatre over the past two months.

We are determined that we'll be back as soon as it is safe, and this certainly isn't the last you'll be seeing of our “two-person knockabout farce" with "pratfalls and slapstick a-plenty" and "wry takes on the story everyone knows..."

Thanks to absolutely everybody who bought a ticket and to all who have supported us so far.

What a BANGER of a review from London Pub Theatres Magazine - which goes some small way to taking the edge off the crushing news the theatre community received yesterday.

Thanks to absolutely EVERYBODY who bought a ticket, and to those who attended our Preview on Sunday.

If you were due to see us this week please bear with us as we work with the wonderful team at the Canal Cafe Theatre to reach a suitable arrangement. We will soldier on, we will be BACK! So please .
