THE JEWish CABARET The JEWish CABARET is a group of young British and Israeli performers.

The music of *Joyfully Jewish: Rainbows on Rye* 🎶🌈

Alongside the plays, four songs from original musical theatre works brought another layer of joy, humour, honesty, and heart to the evening.

To our wonderful singers, musicians, composers, lyricists, creative team, and everyone who helped bring this music to life—thank you for filling the room with such incredible energy and generosity.

A very special thank you to Shachar Shamai and Ralph Bogard , who stepped in at the last minute to perform. Thank you both for your flexibility, professionalism, and for delivering such wonderful performances. We were so lucky to have you as part of *Rainbows on Rye*.

And to everyone who came to listen, laugh, and celebrate with us, thank you for being part of this very special evening.

A look back at the stories of *Joyfully Jewish: Rainbows on Rye* 🌈🎭

Across five original short plays, *Rainbows on Rye* celebrated identity, family, community, belonging, and all the joys (and oys!) of being LGBTQ+ and Jewish.

It has been a privilege to bring these stories to the stage and to share them with such a warm and supportive audience.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible writers, cast, creative team, crew, supporters, and everyone who joined us at JW3. Your talent, generosity, and enthusiasm made this celebration of new Jewish writing possible.

Every production begins with an idea, but it takes a dedicated team of artists to bring it to life.

From producing and directing to music, design, and everything in between, the creative team behind *Rainbows on Rye* has worked tirelessly to create an evening filled with humour, heart, pride, and Jewish joy.

Their vision, creativity, and care have helped shape five new plays and four songs into a celebration of LGBTQ+ Jewish stories that we're incredibly proud to share.

And that's a wrap for *Joyfully Jewish: Getting On* ❤️🎭

What a journey it's been.

From the first rehearsal room read-through to our final performance last Sunday, *Getting On* has been filled with laughter, music, creativity, connection, and an enormous amount of heart.

A huge thank you to our incredible cast, writers, composers, creative team, crew, partners, supporters, and audiences. This production would not have been possible without every single person who contributed their time, talent, and enthusiasm along the way.

We're so proud to have shared these five plays and three songs celebrating Jewish joy, and so grateful to everyone who joined us on the journey.

As one chapter closes, another begins. 🌈

This Sunday, *Joyfully Jewish: Rainbows on Rye* comes to JW3—an evening of five new short plays and four songs celebrating the joys (and oys!) of being LGBTQ+ and Jewish. We'd love to see you there.

🌈 It's all coming together...

After weeks of rehearsals, read-throughs, music calls, and creative conversations, we're now seeing *Rainbows on Rye* come together as a full evening of theatre.

Watching these five plays and four songs sit alongside one another has been a powerful reminder of why we wanted to create this production in the first place: to celebrate LGBTQ+ Jewish stories with humour, honesty, pride, and joy.

At a time when community and representation matter so much, we're incredibly proud to be sharing these stories and creating a space where they can be heard, celebrated, and enjoyed.

And in just a few days, we'll be sharing them with an audience.
