To celebrate we wanted to remind you of our ethos & how dance can help to improve your mental health❤️
At Empowered Movement we have formed a wonderful community of individuals. It has built a support system and friendships that extend beyond the studio walls.
Dance is a powerful tool that can help to build confidence whilst reducing stress and helping you to reconnect with your body. Mental health is deeply connected to the spaces we exist in and the people we surround ourselves with. When you feel welcomed, encouraged and supported it can completely transform your relationship with yourself and with movement.
That’s why our mission is to always be able to create a safe space for everybody to enjoy dance without fear of judgement - Dance is for everyBody - it should be something empowering rather than exclusive.
This Mental Health Awareness Week we are championing the power of movement and community - dedicating so much of what we do to our amazing EM Family who continuously embody our ethos & make Empowered Movement what it is❤️
