Congratulations to the incredible LoLaFF team on such a successful and inspiring first edition and congratulations to all of this year’s winners.

It was an absolute pleasure to attend the Awards Ceremony yesterday at Cine Lumière and to celebrate the achievements of everyone involved.

It has been a real pleasure for Eclectic Gallery to be part of the festival this year and to see so many people come together to celebrate Latin American cinema, culture and creativity.

As part of this collaboration, we wanted to build a bridge between cinema and contemporary art through our exhibition Latin Narratives: Distant & Familiar, bringing together five Latin American artists at Eclectic Gallery alongside the festival.

We are also very excited to continue this relationship in November with Cuban Cinema in Frames, our upcoming exhibition of original Cuban film posters, presented in collaboration with the festival.

A huge congratulations once again to the entire LoLaFF team for everything they have achieved and for putting together such a wonderful programme. It has been a pleasure to collaborate with such a passionate and dedicated team and we are very much looking forward to what we can create together next.

We are so proud to see Juan del Pozo’s luminous cities celebrated in Pratique des Arts no. 188 ✨

In Villes de lumière, Juan opens his studio and reveals how he paints the city from above, with a palette of golden light and violet shadow, and never a touch of black.
