2024 seemed to slip by in the blink of an eye. Like many, I’ve experienced a blend of highs and lows—moments of inspiration and personal growth alongside challenges and moments of doubt. Throughout it all, I’ve been profoundly reminded of the delicate balance between resilience and creativity, and the unwavering yearning for hope that connects us all.

I am deeply grateful for the opportunities that 2024 has presented. Continuing long-standing collaborations with agencies and organisations has been both fulfilling and inspiring, allowing me to deepen trusted relationships while evolving as an artist. My roles have become more varied than ever, spanning actor, role player, voice artist, performer, facilitator, and workshop leader. This diversity has allowed me to step into a dynamic and multifaceted space, where performance, education, and community engagement intertwine, merging artistry with meaningful outreach. One of the joys was diving deeper into the world of puppetry. Performing as a puppeteer and exploring puppet-making techniques, including suitcase theatre and creating interactive work for early years has been a humbling and enriching journey, offering fresh inspiration and invaluable perspectives.

With heartfelt gratitude, I want to thank the incredible artists, companies and organisations who have worked or collaborated with me, or trained me this year— , , , .joy, , , , , , , , , and . Your presence has been an integral part of this journey, and I’m deeply thankful for the connections and growth shared along the way.

An absolute fun and stimulating week tohave spent with a group of amazing creatives (actors, performers, film maker, writers) to play and generate ideas, on directing in the devising process with Paul Hunter, Artistic Director of whom experience in theatre making spans over 30 years.

Come and join me and .masui this Sunday for a 2.5 hour Creative Lab.

Workshop title - Creating Chorus: Movement Play & Martial Arts

Merging the ideas of movement play and the techniques of martial arts, this lab aims to explore how movement in a given space could inform a story and ensemble work to develop a scene in an imaginative way. In the lab we will use objects for collaborative games/ tasks. Participants will then be invited to participate in group creations and share their thoughts.

Time: Sunday 11th Feb, 2-4:30pm
Location: The Studio

(closest public transport: Shoreditch High Street Overground station OR Old Street / Liverpool Street Underground station)

Please join me and at for our performances on 30th November (this Thursday) The Forgotten Gift (40 minutes) and The Trans Lady Sing (45 minutes). Show starts 7:30pm. For ticket please go to my profile link.

I will be performing a re-make of a narrative titled The Forgotten Gift which I first developed just before the Pandemic. The work incorporates the use of minimal props, gestures, combining metaphorical expression and dramatic mime with subtle physical comedy and an attempt to sprinkle in a little Visual Vernacular (VV) to make it more accessible for the deaf and hard of hearing community. It has been amazing to work on it at the spaces , CambridgeJunction and .

You will also see Alice performing The Trans Lady Sing. A poet combining prose, verse, comedy and a dash of gender fluid performance art. For more info about their work please check on their website: https://buff.ly/47wr5Bl

Alice and I both performed at so I am very much looking forward to sharing the stage with them. The night will be a combination of movement, music and hopefully it will bring you some light hearted pleasure.

In the realm of dream, where joy takes flight,
A pendulum swings to measure time's might.
Tick-tock, tick-tock, like a mystical chime,
It weaves the tapestry of hope, sublime.

It was magical to be in such nourishing space recently reworking on something I left off some time ago. During the Pandemic, thanks to , I was allocated a couple of days to play in their space. Titled ''The Forgotten Gift'', it will focus more on accessibility using more gestures and other visual components.
