Our Christmas special with the absolutely hilarious Aaron Simmonds headlining the night
Aaron Simmonds has been failing to stand up for 30 years; luckily he is far better at comedy than standing up. He has a unique perspective on life, usually of people's belly buttons, which gives him stories to tell, and a sore neck.
Aaron Simmonds's TV appearances include The Russell Howard Hour, Sky Max; Guessable and Undeniable, Comedy Central; The Stand Up Sketch Show, ITV2; BBC At The Edinburgh Festivals; BBC New Comedy Award; The Edinburgh Show, BBC Scotland; Unexpected Fluids, BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra; Laura Whitmore's Sunday Session, BBC Radio 5 Live; The Afternoon Show, BBC Scotland.
The award winning comedian holds many accolades including Finalist, Amused Moose Best Show; Nominee, Broadway World UK Best Comedy Show; Winner, Jewish Comedian Of The Year; Finalist, BBC New Comedian of the Year.
Simmonds’s comedic style is story-based, with clever one-liners interspersed throughout. He offers sharply-observed comedy which is grounded in his disability, but is by no means limited by it.
He will be supported by Laura Mcmahon Jacob Hatton Caroline Madds Andrew Coleman .jokes Chris Ford Ro Dodgson Eliz Avni alongside our resident MC Shruti Sharma
