Honoured to take part in “She Wanders in the Forest 她游树林” 🌿 as a curatorial review participant and collaborator in dialogue around the exhibition.

Curated by and Lu Junyan, bringing together Cao Qing, Cai Yuxuan, Kim Sunhee, Su Mumei, Zhou Ziyi, and Nice Error.

Confident, rigorous, and spatially bold. The way the works inhabit the space feels intentional without being rigid.

Set in the middle of the countryside, slightly surreal, slightly unreal — like walking into a serious contemporary show by accident. The contrast is soo cool, I wish all of you could experience it!

It was a real pleasure to stumble upon this small yet beautifully packed exhibition by .lee — a space filled with quiet moments, rich stories, and deep affection for Shanghai’s heritage.
In collaboration with Urban Sketchers Shanghai, these tiny oil paintings may be modest in scale, but they carry remarkable depth, atmosphere, and Kunst 🌆🎨

Although our interview was cut short, the soul of the work speaks clearly: fleeting city scenes, painted with speed, sensitivity, and memory.
Grateful to have collaborated with on capturing this encounter — sometimes the smallest exhibitions leave the biggest impressions.
