Feature Film Frank and Percy lensed by DOP Ryan Eddleston will have its World Premier tomorrow, Tuesday 13th October at the London Film Festival.
 
Based on the play by the same name, the film stars Sir Ian McKellan and Roger Hallam with a star-studded ensemble including Stephen Fry, Joanna Lumley, Derek Jacobi, Ncuti Gatwa and Siân Phillips.

This week we are spotlighting Line Producer Alexandra Breede Alexandra Breede whose C.V. contains an array of critically acclaimed and award-winning feature films.

Her recent credits include the eagerly anticipated ‘Ghosts: The Possession of Button House’ based on the hugely successful BBC series for Lionsgate, BBC Film, and Monumental, as well as ‘Sirius’ starring Mads Mikkelsen, which will be the directorial debut of Academy Award winner Lee Smith.

Further work includes ‘I Came By’ from BAFTA Winner Babak Anvari, period feature ‘The War Below’, and Laura Carreira’s ‘On Falling’ for Sixteen Films which won an array of awards at the London Film Festival, San Sebastian International Film Festival, the European Film Festival as well as two BAFTA Scotland Awards for Best Film and Best Writer.

Alexandra is well-known for her collaborative approach to filmmaking, and her experience as a producer on films such as Simon Amstell’s ‘Benjamin’ allow her to bring demonstrate her creativity to every production in addition to keeping productions on budget and on schedule.

She is soon to wrap on an upcoming feature film for Love Song, Film4, and the BFI from award-winning filmmaker and Screen Star of Tomorrow Jess Kohl.

‘The Party’ featuring Hair and Make Up Design by James Spinks is released on the 11th October on ITV1. Written by and featuring Sarah Solemani, the series is based on the acclaimed novel by Elizabeth Day. The Party is directed by Viviane Andereggen for World Productions/ITV and also stars Luke Evans, Joanna Scanlan and Tom Cullen.

James was recently asked to speak on a guest panel for RTS Cymru Wales at a screening to launch the series, alongside cast and fellow creative talent involved in the project.

This week we spotlight leading Hair and Make Up Designer Bernadine Long Bernadine Long.
 
Bernadine’s credits include commercials for high profile brands including the award winning Uber Eats spot featuring Robert De Niro and Asa Butterfield, EE with Kevin Bacon and the extremely popular comedic Currys campaigns that have featured talent including Jeff Goldblum.
 
Known for her creative flair, dedication and passion for her craft, Bernadine is a much loved and respected Designer. Bernadine’s vast skillset includes wigs, hair styling, character make up, SFX - bruising, ice and more! She has been known to create latex arms, a real life Barbie, and even wigs for dogs!
 
She regularly collaborates with the industry’s most sought after commercial directors as well as working with eminent film and TV directors such as Guy Ritchie and Jonathan Glazier. Her other commercial credits include varied spots for Adidas, Rolex, Samsung, John Lewis and Dove.
 
In music, Bernadine is behind some of the most iconic promos for artists Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Bjork, Skunk Anansie and Pet Shop Boys.
 
In film, Bernadine has worked with major directors and designed the international period film ‘Amazing Grace’.
 
On the red carpet, Bernadine has been a Personal to celebrities and household names that include Dame Helen Mirren, Dame Joan Collins, Alison Janney, Jeff Bridges, Guillermo del Toro, James Cameron and Suzy Amis. She regularly works with other high profile talent including award nominees at LFF, BAFTA and other major industry awards.
