Live Chinese calligraphy at County Hall, London✍🏻✨ County Hall Arts (CHA)

As part of Dance Meets Arts, I had the pleasure of joining a beautiful evening where different forms of art and culture came together, from tea ceremony, Tai Chi and painting to different styles of dance and live music.

For our 2 minute live collaboration, performed 鶴舞 (Crane Dance) while I wrote 舞 (wǔ), meaning “dance”, in Chinese calligraphy. 🖌️💃🏻

With the River Thames, Big Ben and the London Eye as our backdrop, it was such a special setting for this creative performance.

So lovely to see art and culture come together. ❤️

Custom Chinese calligraphy & painting ✍🏻🎨

A bespoke artwork inspired by traditional Chinese art, combining hand-painted details with Chinese calligraphy.

From the delicate ink linework to the final layers of colour, each piece is created by hand. The poem featured is 《送友人》 by Li Bai, a timeless poem about seeing a friend off on their journey.

A few favourite moments from the children’s birthday parties I’ve had the pleasure of being part of. ✍🏻✨Thank you to my lovely clients for trusting me to share Chinese calligraphy with your little ones.

I started learning Chinese calligraphy at just 5 years old, and I truly believe it’s a wonderful age to discover an art form that encourages patience, focus, and creativity.

Whether as a personalised calligraphy giveaway or a hands-on taster workshop, it’s always a joy to see children experience this beautiful tradition for the first time.

A custom Chinese calligraphy commission featuring one of my favourite poems by Su Shi.

「莫聽穿林打葉聲，何妨吟嘯且徐行。
竹杖芒鞋輕勝馬，誰怕？一蓑煙雨任平生。」

Always loved the message behind these words. Life will always have its storms, but instead of rushing or resisting them, the poem reminds us to slow down, stay steady, and keep walking. Sometimes the greatest strength is simply finding peace in the middle of the rain.

The collection featured:

- Buongiorno Amore Mio (“Good Morning, My Love”)
- Buongiorno Dolce Far Niente (“Good Morning, The Sweetness of Doing Nothing”)
- Buongiorno Gioco del Destino (“Good Morning, Game of Destiny”)
- Buongiorno Al Bacio (“Good Morning, To a Kiss”)

A project centred around scent, storytelling, and transforming small everyday moments into I’m poetic rituals.
