It's Week 3 of the In Harm's Way tour and our lovely cast are driving up and down the country.

Taking in the sea air whenever possible is a very important of touring, especially after performing to hundreds to students. We like to make sure to find the time to convalesce (even if it is just for the afternoon)!

This week Eleanor, Blossom and Jacob will be visiting eight school in Surrey, Berkshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire, including Kennet School, George Eliot Academy and Droitwich Spa High School and Sixth Form Centre.

So our cast may have to say good bye to the sea air for a week...

Week 1 of In Harm's Way was clearly a success!
Thank you to The Basildon Upper Academy for having us!

In Harm's Way 2026 has begun!

Our cast of professional actors will be touring around the country for the next six weeks, introducing students to Tash, Callum and Sophie and their various mental health challenges.

This week we're visiting schools in Kent, Essex and London including Thamesview Secondary School, The Charles Dickens School, Folkestone Academy, The Basildon Upper Academy and Edmonton county school.

Will we be visiting your school this time?

If you weren't lucky enough to secure a slot this time, shoot us an email and we can add you to our mailing list for the next time: [email protected]

Our next PSHE play tour is now fully booked!

That's 60 performances of In Harm's Way over the span of 6 weeks, kicking off in September.

And as always, we're supported by the brilliant work of the Goyal Foundation, meaning we can reach even more young people in schools across the country.

If you missed out on the chance to book this time, drop us an email and we'll add you to the waiting list for the next one: [email protected]

During our last tour of In Harm's Way, the students of Thomas More Purley got to meet Tash, Callum and Sophie, three teenagers going through their own mental health challenges.

The next In Harm's Way tour kicks off in September, and it's nearly fully booked - we've only got four performance slots left!

We're looking forward to visiting Thomas More again, along with plenty more schools across the country.

Did your school manage to nab a slot? If not, there's still a chance...

This post is brought to you by someone who is not coping well with the heatwave, but will still complain the moment it gets fractionally too cold.

Our next tour will be In Harm's Way, a play about mental health, self harm and how to replace them with positive coping mechanisms.

We asked students from Acle Academy what they thought the take home message was, and this is what they said...

We think they understood the purpose of the play perfectly!

100% of teachers said they'd book UpFront Theatre again.

Earlier this year, we took Before Anyone Else, our play about consent, relationships and sexuality, on tour across the country. The feedback from teachers has been incredible, and we wanted to take a moment to share it.

To every teacher who took the time to fill out a form on a busy school day: thank you. Your thoughts and insights are so important to us, giving us the tools to be able to continue developing and improving our work.

Things are always moving forward at UpFront Theatre, with workshops and tours coming up, but still it's important to us to stop and celebrate all this brilliant feedback.

We're so impressed with these two students from Bohunt Farnborough! They spoke so eloquently when sharing their thoughts following on from seeing Before Anyone Else - our PSHE play about consent, relationships and sexuality.

Bohunt Farnborough was one of the 26 schools that benefitted from our funded slots during this year's spring tour, allowing us to deliver these essential lessons to an even wider range of young people, in a way that gets them thinking, contributing and even laughing!

Our tours happen twice a year, but our workshops are available year round, covering topics from relationships and bullying to mental health and body image. Have a look at our website to see our full range for KS2, KS3, KS4 and KS5: https://www.upfronttheatrecompany.co.uk/what-we-offer

As always, we're very grateful to our sponsors Goyal Foundation, and we're so proud to be contributing towards their goal of helping every young person build confidence, resilience and self-belief.
