It’s hardly a surprise. The remake of Dead Space was a critical hit, currently sitting at a “Mighty” rating on Open Critic. And it seems to be doing well commercially, too, hitting 2nd on the US monthly software chart after just 2 days of sale. Not too shabby, eh?

American McGee (yes, that’s his name) has been trying to get a sequel to his 2001 and 2011 games for nigh on 6 years now. American McGee’s Alice and the follow up, Alice: Madness Returns built themselves a cult following for how weirdly dark they were, presenting a gothic take on the classic Alice in Wonderland tale. Both are absolutely worth playing, especially Alice: Madness Returns which I featured in my Best of Xbox Game Pass series.

The only good bit of consumer news is that if you have an existing Playstation Now membership it will get rolled into the Premium tier at no extra cost. So that’s cool.

And finally, I’m going to snipe at the names. Yes, at this point I’m just being petty and I fully embrace that. Why the hell is “Plus” still in the names? Why couldn’t it be Playstation Essential, Playstation Extra and Playstation Premium?
