Full heart!
Well today went every bit as I hoped it would!! The finale of this half term - Lessness Heath Has Talent.

There was laughter, happy tears, 40 smiling children's faces and 100 guests who thoroughly enjoyed the show.

I wish I could post pictures but they're not my babies after 3:30 so I can't but they will be available on the Primary First Trust Twitter page in the next few days :)

Roll on plans for next term :)

So today I contacted various community groups and NHS sites with a view to extending my business (calling/joy/lifestyle - same thing) into these areas. I am looking forward to responses. Wish me luck.

This week is aaaaaaghhhhh!!! so exciting!!

One primary school I work in has such enthusiasm for singing now that the choir has had an overwhelming 220 sign ups last count so we are thinking out of the box. How can we keep enthusiasm high whilst creating a great sound and fit into a classroom to rehearse ?!?!

So this term we are trying something new and our first termly talent show is coming together.

We have a choir from KS1 and individual talents from KS2 including a rapper, dancers, singers, a pianist and a drummer, all of whom I am so excited about. One of the dancers left us all speachless in the auditions.... I KNEW she had it in her!!!!!!

So community groups are joining us to celebrate the children, everyone involved is so enthusuastic!!

On the 8th February I hope to report that
1) the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves
2) the parents were amazed but the confidence their children had in themselves,
3) our guests had a memorable time
4) the teachers report back that the children they put forward to take part reaped the rewards of positivity and love poured into them
and 5) and I ........ well I cried with laughter and a whole lot of joy.

This weeks songs include 'Bridge over troubled water' and 'Old McDonald' and many more in between.

When there is a song, a child and love, anything can happen.

This week includes approx 490 children, 11 songs and a lot of love.

2017 is just round the corner and I'm just so excited!

2016 finished with such a crescendo with school productions, a music academy showcase and of course Christmas carols galore.

I am SO proud of what my students have achieved. I'm holding back the tears (if you don't know me by now...)

This next year promises to hold even more! the wheels are in motion for recording, writing, new groups starting, literally all ages included! More as that unfolds.

I look forward to sharing with you the adventures, challenges and joys ahead.
