In 2023 Alex was a Channel 4 Sean Lock Bursary Finalist. She was also selected for the ITV Comedy Writers Initiative, shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Awards, and became one of The Frog and Bucket's Beat The Frog World Series Finalists.

Alex's comedy is awesome, she takes you along the edges and gloriously tips you over in a surreal outcome that never fails to make you laugh. Her eye for detail through her lens is one of pure joy.

Rhiannon came to perform at NICE in the summer and we have her back which is very exciting

Rhiannon performs and writes comedy. You might have seen her on BBC3 or heard her credited for writing on Have I Got News For You, Mock The Week, The Now Show, The News Quiz and Welcome Strangers.

This means we give a voice to the sector of comedy that can be a bit over looked. NICE is the home of quirky, character, musical and regular comedy and we are very proud of that.

MEET OUR ACTS

Mary O’Connell has gigged with NICE before and she brought the house down. We are very excited to have her back on the 6th Dec.

A North London socialite and funny bitch with good hair - Mary can most recently be seen doing stand up on BBC Three’s Stand up For Live Comedy and Comedy Central Live. She was a runner up in the Funny Women Awards 2020. Mary has recently completed a Creator Residency at Baby Cow Productions. She has written for The Emily Atack Show on ITV2 and The Now Show on Radio 4. Mary can also be seen on the Only Fans Comedy Creative fun show on OFTV.

If you fear being picked on you can lay those fears to rest here, but I suspect you will actually want to get involved, our audiences always do.
