The Retro Mix Tape Wedding Program | Monika and Kashif .if were looking for a comprehensive yet bespoke wedding program card that described their love story - which started with a deep bond over their love for curated mix-tapes. They wanted their front cover to feel like album art highlighting a mixtape cassette, peacocks, and lotus floral motifs! The inside content was a detailed description of the Hindu wedding rituals arranged in a numbered track list (to stay true to the MixTape album art theme) alongside little illustrations.

Mughal floral motif study 🌱
Also on another note, it’s always funky how much we go through in our lives, during the span of one painting’s creation process.
This simple little miniature is only a5 in size, but from start to finish it took about 4 months. I began sketching it out on a plane in Abu Dhabi, worked on it a bit in London (moved house while there too), and completed it in Dubai.
It’s truly Mr Worldwide 😤🌎
