Cults of Bleakpyre (the next full release) is undergoing regular online playtesting with the designer Tom, on Tabletop Simulator, weekday evenings (UK time).

Mors is the judge, previously responsible for justice and punishment in the kingdom. With powers that command other minions and overturn actions.

The illustrator made Mors' guardian an executioner, the one who carries out the harsh justice on Mors behalf.

Visio is the watcher, a necromancer who knows and sees all, previously the king's eyes and ears. This is reflected in the asymmetric player powers where Visio's are all about forcing your opponent to reveal hidden information or my favourite power, guessing the players Can at card to cause it to be completely nerfed, so much fun to use!

Visio's guardian is a mix of many faces and eyes stuffed into a grim yet elegant form.

Fortis' guardian fighter, probably my absolute favourite.

Fortis (Latin for strong) is the defender of the realm, previously responsible for building the kingdom's fortifications. This is reflected in their asymmetric player powers that allow them to sneak fighters in and out of the positions on the board including the Citadel; which no other player can do.

The illustrator brought these fortifications to life envisioning a giant living tower that reminds me of the bosses in Shadow of the Colossus.

With AI art flooding the industry, it's more important than ever to show the process of creating art.

Human artists don't stumble upon a perfect finished piece, it starts with sketches and rough work and gradually is refined into the final results.

Luckily Vadim Mishin the very talented artist for the Crown of Ash fighters and I started working together before AI was a thing, so I could rest assured he didn't use it in his process. After over 30 unique characters and literal years of work he could produce perfect fighters in only a handful of revisions.

I wasn't always an easy client through, let me know if you'd like to see the fighters I rejected.

Another UKGE over. And this one was probably my favourite yet. Had an absolutely amazing time showing off 2 games for the first time.

Thanks to all who came by and demoed and bought Crown of Ash and those who played Cults of Bleakpyre in its first outing (in its current form) and gave valuable feedback to make the game even better!
