Greetings: Fountain - Sutton High St

Are you ready for something different? It's nice to play with the medium a bit. Letting the image colour flood into the main greetings card colour or is it the other way road. 

These are also iAM SM1 first requested pieces. When talking with the people tasked with promoting Sutton what comes to mind? 

The Station, the Cancer hub and the public square with a water feature.

When you filter those through theiAM SM1 process, each subject demands intense colours and dramatic skies as the context inviting each viewer to consider taking another look at something so familiar or a first look at something that is in the borough that craves their attention.

What makes iconic? 

Not always the places, but sometimes the

events and people. 

You can attend creative salons and workshops in the borough.

"Dance/Draw" was an event of dance and music as the call and visuals and written word as a response.(Even some embroidery).

Mel, Clea, and Sarah improvised performances to a room of professional and amateur artists and wordsmiths. Pens, pencils, paints, cameras, paper, and screens at the ready.

To capture the energy, I chose words and photos to take home and try something different in the iAM SM1 style.

Like a stick of rock: colourful and collaborative.
My partner convinced me to take the colours of my icon images and bring it to the bags. It worked really well and made me bolder with my artwork.

Carshalton-on-Sea was a community festival with music and merriment.

I recently was one of the organisation team for Carshalton Festival 2026. Bringing the community together and seeing the creative scene meet an audience is both fabulous and fulfilling. It inspire me to keep creating.

The tote bag embodies the coming together of all areas of the borough in a roundel, reminiscent of the words in a stick of rock sweet, around the iAM SM1 logo.

The bag says everyone is someone. When we come together the pride for our area runs straight through us like the words through a stick of rock.

Like a stick of rock: Carshalton-on-Sea was a community festival with music and merriment.

I recently was one of the organisation team for Carshalton Festival 2026. Bringing the community together and seeing the creative scene meet an audience is both fabulous and fulfilling. It inspires me to keep creating.
