Are you a visual artist looking to showcase your work in an intimate, character-filled setting? We’re offering a 700 sq ft basement exhibition space at Area Noir on Sidworth Street — completely free dry hire.

This is a unique opportunity to curate and host your own exhibition, connect with new audiences, and bring your creative vision to life. Leading to artist residency opportunities in Nigeria, Spain and France.

Well, well, well.. this is exciting! We have a publishing arm - Area Noir Publishing; a home for your stories and art to live and be shared. Given the events 2026 has been serving it’s lucky we do because do we have some stories to tell!!

I wanted to share a sneak peek of our Poetry offering, soon to be released on Area Noir Publishing. We will be hosting a reading with the writers at the space and a retreat for writers towards the end of summer in Spain.

We are also looking for finished works to promote and publish so if you have something inspiring, soulful and beautiful to share please send to [email protected]
