Tiles. Designed by A.W.N. Pugin and manufactured by Minton.

15x15 cm.

Four plastic clay tiles, solid red body with buff inlay under a clear glaze; each with motif of four stylised fleur-de-lys and fleshy leaves.

The design of these tiles is commonly found on medieval tiles and was used by several 19th-century manufacturers, including Minton & Co.

The house was demolished in 1959. A chimney piece and two chairs from the house are displayed in the Victoria and Albert Museum , other items were auctioned.
