🚨 This might be one of the most bizarre things a U.S. ambassador has ever said.

Mike Huckabee says Christians are spiritually indebted to Jewish people and that he struggles to understand Christians who do not support Israel.

Huckabee has said:

🇮🇱 "Christians are spiritually indebted to the Jewish people."

🇮🇱 "It is time to be pro-biblical, because then you will find your voice to be pro-Israel."

When asked about biblical borders extending far beyond modern Israel, Huckabee responded:

🇮🇱 "It would be fine if they took it all."

When asked whether an independent Palestinian state remained a goal:

🇮🇱 "I don't think so."

He has also said:

🇮🇱 "There is no such thing as a Palestinian."

And he rejects the term "West Bank," preferring the biblical names "Judea and Samaria."

Think about how extraordinary this is.

Imagine a politician telling Christians that supporting the policies of a foreign government is part of their duty to God.

Imagine being told that questioning a state's actions means you're failing your faith.

Many Christians around the world would reject that idea completely.

Because Christianity is a religion.

Israel is a country.

Those are not the same thing.

The real question isn't whether Huckabee supports Israel.

Everyone already knows he does.

The question is why support for a modern government should be treated as a religious obligation for hundreds of millions of Christians.

❓Should any country's policies be considered a requirement of religious faith?
