I had the privilege of attending the funding forum, which sought to improve funding opportunities for social change, particularly in the black community. The lineup included Dr. Caroline Popoola, Olaide Olunoyo, Tolulope Shodunke, and the incomparable Dr. Gospel Obele. After sharing 10 complimentary tickets with friends and family, I received fantastic feedback. When a saxophonist had to cancel last-minute, I stepped in to deliver some lighthearted jokes that resonated with the theme and UK life, catching Dr. Obele's attention. We explored potential partnership opportunities, and I'm thrilled to see my community thrive. The experience was truly enriching.
