Having done ballet, Modern and Contemporary as a child I then went on to complete a Contemporary dance degree at Chichester University in the UK. After a while I really wanted to get back into Ballet Barre but was struggling to find a class and the classes I fo
und didn’t really suit what I was looking for, so I sort of shelved that idea as I was suffering from a few Mental Health issues at the time as well. A few years ago I was asked to join a Performing Academy teaching different dance styles. While talking to my new boss about my love of ballet he encouraged me to start up a simple ballet barre session with my own ideas and Ballet Emz was born. I use a combination of classical Barre exercises to provide a well rounded different style of workout. Ballet Emz will work on your Core, flexibility and stamina all with ballet positions in mind, when you are working on an exercise or position there is always a ballet move involved in it. Ballet Emz is a gender neutral programme which is aimed at 18yrs + for both Male and female no matter what their fitness levels. Ballet Emz is slightly different as it provides all the benefits of Ballet Barre, but with a Ballet Emz twist. Which when you start to work on the Ballet Emz programme you will see results quite quickly. As well as fitness, Ballet Emz also promotes positivity to help with your own Mental Health. Over the past years I have been working on my ballet technique, barre and flexibility and I have found my own Mental Health issues have improved. I feel that Ballet Emz is a great programme and I cant wait to get things really started to help people follow their dreams and get them back into ballet.
