The bigger change is how the game will handle its tick rate. Basically, the tick rate determines how often the game communicates with the server. CS: GO does this 64 times per second on its official servers, while third-party servers send information twice as much. Counter-Strike 2 is going to introduce a sub-stick system where important information like a gun firing or a gr***de being thrown will be instantly communicated. In theory, the result should be a smoother game that feels more responsive.
