Under careful zoo and animal management, and with a good understanding of individual behaviour, cross-species living environments can be of great benefit 🫏🦘

Providing behavioural enrichment and an interesting social situation, our donkeys and wallabies enjoy living with each other at the zoo.

What other animals have you seen living together, at home, in zoos, or the wild?🐾

It's International Bat Night, and we're celebrating these special creatures! Can you count how many individual bats are in these photos?📸🦇

Our teams carry out monitoring to understand the biodiversity of our green spaces. The species recorded, from Natterer's to Pipistrelles, are good ecological indicators, and each play a vital role in maintaining healthy ecosystems by feeding on insects after dark.

Have you spotted any bats so far this summer?
