We are so excited to announce a SENSATIONAL season for Centre Stage in 2027!

We kick off with a bang with the iconic MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG in April, and Centre Stage’s first ever full Sondheim production (2004’s West Side Story only half counts…)

Then in summer we sing, dance, and tap(!) our way through the epic tale of BIG FISH. And we challenge you to sit though it without crying AT LEAST once…

☀️ Pitch for Summer 2027! ☀️

Our normal pitch process has now concluded. We are extremely grateful to everyone who applied and we are very excited to say we have both our 2027 Spring and Autumn shows in the locker! Look out for our big new season launch at our Diamond Anniversary Ball at the Wheatsheaf Hall on Friday 11 September 2026.

We are still looking for a team to take on our Summer slot - playing at the Bridewell Theatre from 20-24 July 2027. This show would typically audition and begin rehearsing around April 2027.

We’re looking for a musical or large scale musical cabaret that allows us to offer great opportunities for Centre Stage’s members. We would ideally like to hear from full teams (Director, Choreographer, MD, Producer) or partial teams with a clear path to filling key roles.

Applications open today and will remain open for 2 weeks, closing at midnight on 14th August.

“Tonight, we honour what was lost, but we also commemorate what we found” 💙

Last night, we said a heartfelt goodbye to Centre Stage’s production of Come From Away.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who has given their time, support, love and talent to this incredible project.

25 years on from 9/11, what a privilege it has been to carry the banner for this truly inspiring story, in a world that needs it just as much now as it ever has before.

Our sensational cast gave their all to make this show happen. Playing over 50 characters between 12 of them, for 105 minutes, with no breaks, is a feat that we’ve all been astounded by. Time and time again we’ve seen them rallying together, looking out for each other and sharing joy in the process - embodying the ethos of the show and Centre Stage’s values to a tee 💙💛

Behind the scenes, from our tech team and production support in London, to our new friends in Newfoundland and Texas, it took a village, and what a fanatic team effort it has been.

6 incredible audiences, 5 sellouts and 1 engagement later, we won’t soon forget this truly special process. If anyone needs us, there’s a good chance we’ll be in Gander.

It’s get-in day for Come From Away! And the cast and crew are working tirelessly to bring the community of Gander to the Bridewell.

In the meantime, a quick reminder that today is the last day to submit applications to perform on Sunday 30 August in our Clapham Common Bandstand Concert.

🎤 Want to perform? Just fill in a form and send us a video of you singing something. All the details are on our website. Link below ⬇️

🧺 Want to watch? The concert starts a 2pm and it’s free to attend. With deckchairs, food trucks, a lovely cafe and all the trimmings, it’s going to be a festival of fun. Bring a picnic, gather your friends and family, and enjoy an afternoon of live musical theatre in the sunshine

Sitzprobe Day at Come From Away 🪗🎻

The cast, the band, and Wendy the Ugly Stick met for the first time yesterday. The show is already sounding incredible - here is a sneak preview.
