Ezay Meek mini busking tour ANOUNCEMENT!

I'm buzzing to have now finalised some plans for my first UK busking tour & road trip! This will be in between now & the start of next year, 2025, Summer when I will be looking to go all in for a UK wide full on busking tour travelling to up to 20 or so UK cities as far as the northern area of Scotland having busked up the east coast of the UK & then to travel back down through the centrall and west parts of the UK stopping off at several major cities, busking each new location, sharing my music, poetry & photography, meeting new people, taking the dogs for a walk of a lifetime & snapping some awsome images for the planned poem/photo books & EP/Album cover artwork!

There are quite a few points of detail and thoughts surround this busking tour so it makes sense to get out there in the meantime, practicing the ideas, building up the social media followings & online listeners and saving up towards a vehicle to drive the journey!!!

So - I've chosen 6 locations to drive & busk over the course of 1 month/30 days where I'll be stopping off at 3 locations for 3 days of busking...then moving on to the final 3 stops where I'll spend 7 days in each. 3 days will be standard busking...Then 2 days will be a form of live show but with wireless headsets for the attendees and finalising in a few live shows in a proper music venue with a capacity up to around 100!!!

I'm excited to get this show on the road (literally) but there is a lot of work to do before I'm ready including burning around 300 CD's of my EP releases, setting up all of my online content, strategising m social media campaigns and getting my set list finalised, practiced & full of confidence & well rehearsed tracks to deliver a quality show!

I can't wait to unveil more the closer I get to actually starting so watch this space for more info soon!!!

Hoping the right person sees this...

Distrokid are now asking me to fill in some tax forms because it seems like a radio station in the states have played a couple of my tracks & Distrokid have some moneyz for me... I'm not sure, it's the first time and this is not my area of expertise or comfort at best..

In about two & a half months I'm going to hit the road to busk around the UK... There are currently around 20 Cities planned to be stop off & busking locations.

This has been an idea I've had for a long time & now it's becoming a reality... I've got two & half months to finish the music, build a business I can run remotely from a campervan... I've got to gather my busking set up, find a K9 best friend to adopt & bring with me & gather the right gear to Vlog the whole experience!!!

Should be quite the introduction if all goes to plan!!!

I knew that it was going to be tough.. As in, there would be a lot of work to do...as an independent artist...But I didn't have any idea how much it really was going to be!!!

When I have a tight nit community of fans who are supporting me and my music, downloading my tracks, listening to my Spotify songs, sharing my social media shorts & hopefully coming to my live gigs...well that moment just might be the most satisfying moment of my life. I think it will be.

I'm back busing.... And instantly my mental health has improved beyond description.

At the same time toxic, hurtful energy is blasted into my path & admittedly has done some damage and drained me...but I'm still here, and rising above it!!!

I am going to focus on the present moment, well the present weekend to be exact, if Wednesday is now the start of the weekend...

Time to sharpen the sword & get back to the basics, tootin' me horn & spitting da flames!!!

Today I tried to write a summary of my overall marketing strategy & how I plan to become a very well known artist with respected works in music, poetry, photography & acting...

I was consciously trying very hard to keep it short and sweet but still comment on every key aspect....

it's 6 pages long... I don't know how I'm going to do this...

Maybe..just maybe... I should just focus on making music I love... Music that stirs up intense emotion withing my chest and stomach & only put it out when I have truly processed the raw track and am happy with the final state....

I've had some huge realizations in the last few days... I think I've now got a much better idea regarding how I'm going to release and share my music!!

So far I've released just the one single through Distrokid. In the next 6 weeks I'm going to upload another 9 tracks for a total of 10 official releases.... These 10 tracks will then be promoted & performed through the first 6 months of 2024...

If all goes well & people like the music, then I will be trying to raise funding to produce around three official, studio albums, performed & recorded live in the highest quality setting, with some top end musicians!!!

I'm also aspiring to raise funding to produce a limited quantity of Vinyl & CD's.... The community who support & help accomplish these ambitions will be the shareholders too... That maybe isn't the clearest description but the core idea is to remain independent...

It may very well be reasonable statement to proclaim that the last 12-24 hours has indeed been the most important and life changing I've ever had!!!

It's been years in the making and potentially was delayed and put off due to self destructive BS but thankfully it has now happened... I've joined forces with a music distrubor & my first official single release is OUT NOW & floating in the ehter stationed within dozens of the worlds largest & most popular music streming platforms...

A benefit of having put off releasing any music properly is that now I have dozens and dozens...AND DOZENS of tracks in varying stages of completion... Safe to say I aint gonn run outta bars any time soon..well actually, the lyrics/bars are mainly what's lacking so technically, in how Chip meant what he meant, I have run out of bars....Musical bars though you say!? Yeah loads!!

So music coming in abundance!! Here this.... I'm starting how I mean to continue -

It's been a while (like, YEARS!!!) in the making but I've finally taken out membership with a music distributor & have uploaded my first official release which will be arriving to all major music streaming platforms imminently...

There's going to be a few more tracks following suit this side of Christmas... Quite a big step that's finally been taken... Next stop, Glastonbury Headline!!
