A true legend has earnt his wings, I first heard his voice as mufasa but the first time I saw him was in Conan the barbarian and he kinda scared me in that as a kid 😂 as he was so commanding with such a deep and booming voice. Thanks for creating so many memories in countless films over the years.

RIP James Earl Jones: 1931 - 2024

James Earl Jones, the renowned Hollywood actor and voice behind Darth Vader in Star Wars, has passed away at the age of 93, according to his agent, Barry McPherson. McPherson stated that Jones died early Monday morning, surrounded by his family.

Over his illustrious career, Jones featured in numerous iconic films, such as Field of Dreams, Coming to America, and Conan the Barbarian. Yet, he was most famous for lending his deep, resonant voice to the infamous Star Wars villain, Darth Vader.

Jones also brought life to the character Mufasa in Disney's 1994 classic The Lion King and voiced CNN’s signature line, “This is CNN.”

Over the course of his career, Jones received numerous accolades, including Emmy Awards, Tony Awards, a Grammy, and an honorary Oscar.
