Super exciting news!!! Swipe left for details 🤩🤩🤩

I’ll be fundraising for Southgate Mosque on Saturday the 11th of March, by adorning your hands with beautiful mehndi 😍

Come and support this extraordinary project which aspires to be a holistic Islamic centre with interactive activities and studies for all ages.

All profits will go directly towards the completion of the Southgate Mosque project.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Whoever builds a mosque, desiring thereby Allah’s pleasure, Allah builds for him the like of it in paradise.” [Bukhari]

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (continuing charity), knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him” [Muslim]

The reward for building a mosque is never ending. As long as people are benefiting from the mosque you’ve helped build, then you will continue to receive rewards from Allah (SWT) even in the Hereafter In Sha Allah.

See you there 😊

Five years ago, on this blessed day 16th February, I’ve completed the other half of my Deen with my soulmate . Time fades away, but our love keeps growing. Our bodies grow old, but our love stays forever young.
Allah swt has blessed me with more than I could ever ask for Al Humdulillah. Ma Sha Allah ❤️

What is the difference between Henna and Mehndi?

Henna is the plant (Lawsonia Enermis) which is used to make the henna paste.

Mehndi is the art of applying the henna paste on the skin creating beautiful temporary tattoos.

Important information in the caption 👇

Henna stain fully develops after 36-48 hours.
It is initially a shade of orange which turns into a beautiful dark maroon.

It is therefore recommended to book your bridal session 2-3 days before the main event.

After care is crucial in achieving a dark and long lasting henna stain.

I’ll post about the importance of after care soon.
