"Damian's work pulls apart the components of
landscape painting, refining shapes to bare gestures.
Using decorator’s brushes and palette knives, he
applies primary and secondary colours to create
different planes and layers of texture. Through the
arrangement of abstract forms, he creates a visible
depth and tension across the field of the canvas."
