So, quick storytime. I actually started out singing and doing vocals before the DJing, before producing, before everything else.⠀
⠀
Somewhere along the way I convinced myself my voice wasn’t strong/good enough, so I hid it. I kept making tracks, kept moving forward, kept hitting milestones… just without that part of me.⠀

I’ve recorded so many songs with my vocals over the years and assumed they’d just live on my hard drive forever. So being in the studio with this one and actually having fun with it feels really special. I’ve had this for a while, and releasing a track with my own vocal was on my goals list for last year. I didn’t quite get there, along with a few other things, but we go again.⠀

As my mum always says, delay is not denial. If there’s something you’ve been putting off because it feels uncomfortable, maybe this is your sign ✨⠀

Two deserts in two months - and each one shaped this journey in a way I’ll never forget. A month ago, I finished a brand-new track in one desert, and shortly after, I had the incredible opportunity to DJ and share it live in another.⠀

I’m super excited to announce that Habibi is coming next Friday! This track is a celebration of my journey, blending the sounds of my travels, the cultures I’ve experienced, and the local rhythms that have inspired me along the way.⠀
