Hey all, happy Friday!

So much has been going on I’m very out of the loop on all things Han Crafted, with illness, exams and work! Apologies!

But exciting times lie ahead as I’ve finished my BTC exams (forever I hope) and recently got accepted for a dream job starting in September!

Starting the new job means leaving the job that I’ve held for the last year. I moved to London, walked into Bat and Ball one day and two weeks later decided to apply there for a job. Fast forward a year and I’ve left. Genuinely loved working here & met some amazing people. Hospitality will forever be one of the hardest jobs there is.

Anyways, in classic Hannah style I drew a picture of the venue to remember my time.

A special weekend over in my boyfriends home town, Woodhall Spa, as they held their annual 1940s Festival for the first time since 2019, where this year I was asked to illustrate their Dambusters Memorial for a tote bag!

You can see the memorial in the images and it was an honour to be asked to draw something so special for such a special occasion.

It was a hard drawing with many of the features hard to make out now. The hardest part was deciphering all the names memorialised, but it is for sure my favourite part of the piece. Being able to see and read all the individual names on my illustration was what I wanted most and I’m so pleased how they turned out.

An absolute honour to illustrate the memorial for such an important event. Excited for what’s to come next year…

What else would I do to celebrate my parents 25 year wedding anniversary, both of them retiring, and deciding to move all in a few months but paint some pictures…

The two welly images are my favourite paintings I’ve done to date! I tried to fit all of both families on one image but it wasn’t working so instead I split them into dads side and mums side and I LOVE them. I wanted to keep them similar in ways so that when hung together, although showing each side of the family they would compliment each other. I love them and allll the hours were well worth it!

The house image seen in the first picture was just an extra something for them to remember our main family home when they move!

Running behind on the Christmas commissions, but back today sharing a welly boot commission!

I’ve recently been loving one-line animals in my welly designs and I am obsessed with the duck and rabbit featured in this illustration! Another welly picture completed and shock horror… another one I absolutely love!

I’m currently working on two larger welly illustrations as something special and can’t wait to share them once they’re completed - it’ll be a while yet!

I hope you all had a lovely January, it feels like it has gone so quickly this year! I’m excited for the year and for everything to come!

✨Hello All and Happy New Year!!✨

First off, apologies for the radio silence over the last month! If you didn’t know, I’m currently a part-time BTC (barrister training course student) and work full time in hospitality, which is always busiest over December! Couple that with numerous illnesses and then finally getting to go home to see friends/family, I just didn’t have the time to share things over here/needed time to take a break.

But I’m back and I have a few different Christmas commissions to share with you, as well as some new and exciting cards and product updates! First off is this super fun commission, with the client asking for a digital illustration with a Star Wars theme…

I hope you all kick started 2022 well, I worked NYE/NY holiday with a broken toe and am very much looking forward to a day off today to rest it & finally watch the Harry Potter 20 year special!

Happy Sunday!

I hope you’re all having a lovely weekend - I am currently huddled under a blanket revising for an exam whilst dealing with tonsillitis. But, I did put my Christmas decorations up yesterday which makes me VERY happy!

It was recently my partner and mines 5 year anniversary and I thought it was the perfect excuse for our own welly picture. My partner is a massive Star Wars fan & I thought that would make a cute theme… so it’s based around Han Solo and Leia and has their infamous quote at the top. It may have been for my partner, but let’s not lie, it was for me… and I love it.

I wouldn’t ordinarily share something like this as it’s a personal image. But I’ve had this idea for a while, along with others themed around other couples including Tony Stark & Pepper Pots in their Iron suits & Mickey & Minnie Mouse, Donald & Daffy Duck... couples with memorable ‘outfits’ that would look good as wellies! Let me know in the comments anymore you think would work…

Anyways… for now it’s just another idea on my list of ideas for Han Crafted products😅

Happy Friday!

Back with another digital illustration commission for you all! I completed this one a few weeks ago and it was certainly a challenge! The colouring of the image and design was different to usual, and I made the decision to include some elements of the original background to help tie the illustration together. Happy Thursday!

I’ve had a super busy last few weeks with work/commissions/keeping on top of life but I’m away this weekend for my little sisters graduation and I am SO excited! 🤩

Anyway, in between work I recently completed this commission and I can’t tell you how special it is. It was for my boyfriends grandparents 60th wedding anniversary and honestly, I wish I could share them opening it - the most heartwarming video ever. Due to work I wasn’t able to give them the piece in person, but there reaction was just wonderful. If you’ve been around here a while, you may remember I’ve done a few commissions for my boyfriends family before, but this one is extra special as it’s also the first family piece I caved and put myself on too! I always get asked why I never include myself and I don’t know, but this time I did!

Any eagle eyes/football fans might also recognise the clashing variety of football teams in the family - especially the rival teams in the blue and red👀

I love all the welly pictures I complete, I think they just look so lush when they’re done. I have such fun completing them, and it gives me that time to remember why I started and why I love art. Especially these larger ones, when drafting I can’t see it working but once it’s done it comes together and I feel so pleased!

💫 Happy Sunday! 💫

I’ve started to plan and purchase Christmas presents and I just found out it is only 41 days, 41 DAYS, until the big day?!! Sorry what?!! I need to get a move on it seems…

I cannot wait for Christmas, especially after the last few months and what will be a busy lead up, I cannot wait to go home to my boyfriends family home & my family home, chill, eat and drink. Yay!

Happy Monday!

In another lil break from Christmas content, I’ve got another Welly Boot Picture to share with you all!

I recently completed this family painting and it had a little twist that I LOVED! The client commissioned the piece specifically for their brothers 60th, and so as well as making their wellies special for their 60th we added another twist. Whereas usually the date at the bottom is the ‘Est’ date for the family, here the client picked their brothers birthday! I think it’s a lovely touch and makes the present even more special for their brother!

I loved the Chelsea FC themed wellies and how different they are to previous football wellies I’ve done due to the snazzy kit they currently have. But my fave is 100% the Australian themed wellies. I LOVE the little kangaroos!
