Attending the gig was a stark contrast to the adrenaline fuelled hell pits at Chalk. Despite the shift in tempo, I made it my challenge to slow down and focus on how to use the camera settings to the best of its abilities. Instead of hoping for a ‘lucky’ shot where the moment simply comes together, I tried to adjust my settings to enhance the lighting in turn emphasising the mood - in hopes of creating images that were just as compelling as those found in the spontaneous, ‘caught off guard’ moments.
The performance and artistry of Tempesst truly transported you into their world. I don’t think any image could capture the soulful, passionate energy they effortlessly exude- you simply just had to be there
