Over 300 billion single-use cups are made every year (according to our reusable cup partner) In fact Loughborough University estimates that it’s closer to 500 billion… which is half a trillion. Yikes!
How do they work that out? Either way - we won’t be adding to that number.
So this is just a little reminder that the pop-up Café at Good Shepherd Studios is papercup free. Since it opened (led by staff) we’ve sold nearly 1500 coffees and not a single one of those was served in a single use cup.

Here’s a picture by Nishat showing her enjoying a pastry and iced latte… ;)

Oh and these banging muffins (plant based by the way) are baked on the counter and flying off the shelves. ;)

This weekend is Open House London.
Look out for some great events taking place at the studios.
Highlights include Peter Ashans Freedom Walk, QiGong in the Garden, Mindful Parenting, theatre workshop and building tours. ;)
We’ve also got an extended menu at the café which includes home made lentil and carrot soup, vegan samosas and sausage rolls to keep you going between workshops. 🙏
