STILL HERE!
All things are nice, with Stripes - is still available.
A diptych but has also been offered as separate paintings, but she's still available.
She's been on display, photographed, enquired about and more but is still available. She had offers made, been in the sale (50% off over the summer) and added to the shopping basket on my website but she's still available.
Could it be, that's she's been painted on mount board and not rag cotton paper? Maybe because the rough edges are not the actual edges of the paper but where the paint meets the end of their shape & area, leaving a boarder.
Could it be, I've never had her professionally framed and she's never left my home, she's not had an opportunity to be exhibited?
Could it be the colours? Could it be composition? Could it be the size? The title?
Previous paintings very similar, have sold, quickly and easily but 'All things are nice, with Stripes' is still an available.
If I made it again, of course it would be of rag cotton and I would consider a new colour palette but the mount boards were there, cut and ready used, I couldn't throw them away - however I could have offered them to a fellow artist.
Maybe I should display them, with the edges neat and covered with a mount frame and separately - what do you think?
Peace & Love
