Day 12, in the Gallery...Today, the galley has been fairly quiet, so I've managed to get quite a lot of painting done. Something very whimsical about this one...

I'm loving my environment, the light and being surrounded by such inspiring work.

Incredible interiors from Formenteraguamarina

A new collection of circular paintings, celebrating on a floral theme, each unique, exploring different colours, patterns and always featuring the circle.

Emulsion paint on rag cotton Indian Paper, handmade from , 30 cm diameter, when framed 40 x 40 cm.

A handful are available unframed on my website, others 'framed' with art glass and wood, will be available:

• The Gallery throughout June

• Open Studio Artists At Home 19th - 21st June

Sunlight in art has transformed throughout history, moving from symbolic depictions to explorations of light's subtleties. For me, it's about capturing the feeling sunshine brings. Sunshine simplifies life. Longer days bring more laughter, blue skies lift our moods, and warmth on our skin is pure bliss. Even the smallest things, like fresh laundry and blooming flowers, feel special. Perhaps it's my UK upbringing, but sunshine equals carefree summers and long evenings spent outdoors. That's what I aim to convey in my art – happiness.
