We are absolutely ECSTATIC to announce... Shakespeare-themed midsummer 40th Anniversary Concert on 27 June! 🎉 🎶

The programme offers a thematic journey inspired by Shakespeare's comedies and tragedies. Light-hearted romance, comedy and fairy-tale imagery contrast with intense emotional drama, all brought together with performative readings.

Our concert opens with Berlioz’s charming and witty overture Béatrice et Bénédict, followed by The Merry Wives of Windsor Overture by Nicolai.

The programme transitions to romance and tragedy in Norwegian composer Johan Svendsen’s 1876 Romeo and Juliet Fantasy tone poem and Mendelssohn’s popular incidental music to the magical Midsummer Night’s Dream.

But the drama doesn’t end there - we'll finish with possibly the most iconic classical composition of all time, Beethoven’s powerful and exciting Symphony No 5.

We look forward to welcoming you to join us for what promises to be a truly joyous occasion, celebrating Kew Sinfonia’s achievements over 40 years of wonderful music making!

... And we're back! For our first concert of the new year, we're starting off with a bang. 💥

We're so glad to be welcoming back the incredibly talented to perform Shostakovich's spirited and lyrically beautiful 2nd piano concerto, a treat not to be missed. 👀

We'll also be performing Beethoven's Egmont Overture, Roussel's Sinfonietta, and Bizet's Symphony in C.

Thank you to our brilliant players, Leader Cathy Schofield and our amazing Musical Director Daniel Hogan for all their enthusiasm, dedication and hard work, to our wonderful audience members for their support throughout 2025, and to our Committee for all they do behind the scenes.

We really look forward to seeing you all for another year of exciting music making in 2026, culminating in our special summer concert on Sat 27 June in celebration of Kew Sinfonia's 40th anniversary! 🥳🍾🥂 Don't miss it!

What an evening! 🎅🌌

Thank you to everyone who came to our Christmas concert last week, we were thrilled to see the hall so full.

Congratulations to the Brentford School for Girls choir who were absolutely fantastic during the carols and Home Alone repertoire.

Thank you to for joining us for her wonderful narration of The Snowman. Special credit must also go to our talented conductor@danielhoganconductor, who had the incredibly tricky job of seamlessly guiding both Rosie and the orchestra to bring the story to life. ☃️

And of course, congratulations to our players for their dedication and talent both last week and all year.
It has been a wonderful year of music making at Kew Sinfonia, and we couldn't have done it without you.

Our Christmas concert is coming up THIS Sunday! ❄️🎄

We'll be performing music from Home Alone, a selection of festive music and carols, and bringing to life the magic of The Snowman by Howard Blake. ☃️

This concert is in aid of Embrace the Middle East, a charity doing incredible work across the region, so every ticket helps make a difference.

We'll also be joined by the fabulous Brentford School for Girls Singers, and the wonderful Rosie Simpson as a narrator.

100 tickets have already sold, so be sure to get yours before they go! 🎟️
