Fossil fuel company profits have soared while we’re being charged over 50% more to heat our homes. We can’t separate environmental and social justice!

This is why we supported the demo yesterday. Several people in the band had never played at a demo before!

How the people who represent us can make us complicit in the social and racial injustice of siting the incinerator in Edmonton, and the impending financial catastrophe of the overspend & oversize, and the appalling impact on human health and the climate...in what universe is it reasonable to burn plastic for energy? They could build a state of the art recycling centre instead and provide jobs and a just transition to the green circular economy.
