Think theatre isn’t for you? 👀 Think again! This August, Centre 59 Theatre Week is back, spearheaded by Roundhouse Associate Artistic Director Daniel Kaluuya.

In this week-long programme, you’ll explore how to create stories for the stage, choosing from a menu of daily workshops in everything from scriptwriting ✍️ and character creation 🎭 to movement and directing 🎬. No auditions, no experience needed, and absolutely everyone starts from scratch.

It’s all about building confidence, learning from industry pros, and finding your voice.

✅ Ages 11–14: Mon 3 Aug – Fri 7 Aug | 9.30am – 4pm
✅ Ages 15–17: Mon 10 Aug – Fri 14 Aug | 9.30am – 4pm
✅ Ages 18–25: Mon 17 Aug – Fri 21 Aug | 9.30am – 4pm
📍 Where: Roundhouse, Camden
💰 Cost: £20 for the week (financial support available)

Book your place on the under 18’s programmes now. Due to high demand, the 18-25 programme places will be assigned via random lottery selection of all eligible participants. Enter the lottery online by Wed 8 July, 10am.

We’re so excited to have BAFTA-winning writer and Roundhouse alumnus back with us this summer for our Roundhouse Comedy Festival! Jack is returning to his roots to perform his hit comedy-theatre show Good Grief: a decade retrospective of “capitalising on my dead dead to varied levels of failure and success.”

This incredible performance features the original show co-written with his 80-year old Nan Sicely, blended with some present day musings on grief and ambition. It’s a hilarious and candid exploration of life, loss and the palpable regret of his own decline into becoming a “telly wanker”.

Jack originally developed the show right here at the Roundhouse back in 2014 and having him return is going to be unforgettable. If you love live comedy, brilliant storytelling and Big Boys, you cannot miss this.

The -nominated East Texas singer-songwriter brought his catalogue of hits to our Camden Roundhouse last night as part of the ‘When I Change My Mind I Don’t Mean It’ tour and it didn’t disappoint.
