Create a truly floating reef with our custom PolypShelfs. 🪸

We design and manufacture custom reef shelves tailored to your aquarium, allowing them to blend seamlessly with your filtration compartment, overflow or aquarium background for a clean, natural floating-reef appearance.

Our PolypShelfs incorporate an air-filled compartment designed to provide additional buoyancy, helping reduce the effective load from the rockwork transferred to the shelf and rear glass while keeping the supporting structure discreet.

Each shelf can be customised around your aquarium, aquascape and filtration layout.

From Design to Reality 🪸

At The Polyp Pros, we don’t just build aquariums — we design complete custom aquatic systems around the needs of each project.

The main image shown here is a render, created to showcase the completed concept. The three inset photos are real photographs from a real coral farm project we designed and built, showing the actual tanks, filtration and extensive pipework behind the system.

From the initial design and layout through to tank manufacture, filtration, plumbing and installation, we can develop bespoke systems ranging from individual custom aquariums to large-scale coral farms and commercial aquatic installations.

From concept to reality — even when the project itself doesn’t make it there. 🌊

This video was AI-generated from a real design and render we produced for a bespoke aquarium project that unfortunately fell through before reaching manufacture.

We still wanted to bring the concept to life and show what’s possible with a fully custom Polyp Pros system.

From the aquarium itself to the sump, filtration, plumbing, cabinetry and equipment integration, we can design systems around your space, requirements and ideas — whether it’s a statement home reef, specialist coral system or large-scale commercial installation.

Have a crazy aquarium idea? We love those.
